Paradise in Pelion
In this beautiful region of Pelion, there is a lovely bay with warm colors, a fishing port and transparent waters. The hotel is located in the village, with an incredible view just a few meters from the tavernas and small beach.
A favorite hotel for “Live Athens”.
The Foundry Suites is a rare gem. This is one of the best hotels in Greece, or rather in Athens, that we know of. It’s really out of the ordinary. It succeeds in being both ultra-design and extremely warm. It also boasts a bucolic roof terrace overlooking the Acropolis.
Charm and authenticity in the Magne region
Castello Antico is an excellent beachfront hotel with swimming pool in Gythio, Peloponnese. Everything is perfect: the beauty of the surroundings, the warm welcome, the authenticity, the comfort of the rooms and the superb breakfast.
A mill in Kythira
A real stone windmill: here’s an atypical home that we really liked. Ideal for spending a few days on the magnificent island of Kythera. An original idea that’s a big hit with children.
Family atmosphere at Mount Olympus
Hotel Dimatis is a family-run establishment run by Panagiota, very kind. Traditional style and warm atmosphere. Perfect location for discovering Mount Olympus.
Luxury hotel in Sifnos
Refined Cycladic decor, exceptional views over the Aegean Sea, attentive staff: the Hotel Verina Astra is a truly beautiful address and one of the best hotels in Greece. A must for anyone looking for peace and quiet!
Seaside hotel in the Peloponnese
The location and breathtaking sea views alone justify a stay at Limeni Village. Add to that authentic architecture and comfortable rooms… a real treat!
Stone village in Crete
A Cretan friend recommended the Thalori: a group of small traditional Cretan houses in a magnificent setting in the south of Crete. Breathtaking sea and mountain views. Here, you have the feeling of being alone in the world.
Cyclades: an exceptional place on Ios
For those in the mood for something special, we recommend the Hide Out Suites hotel on Ios. Magical! The location, the sea view, the refined Cycladic decor, the private pool… everything is absolutely perfect!
La Maison Vert-Amande in Kea
A small exception to this list: we have not yet visited this establishment in person. But it has come highly recommended on several occasions, so it’s right at the top of our wish-list. The owner is French. The house is 100m from the beach, in a peaceful setting.
