A sudden craving for fish? With its original concept of fish shop-restaurant, the FishPoint restaurant will seduce you. It is located a little off the beaten track, in the Pangrati district. This is a great place to stay, especially if you are visiting the nearby Panathenaic Stadium.

It is not obvious at first glance that this is a restaurant. And for good reason, FishPoint is first and foremost a fish store. The stalls are appetizing: red mullet, sea bass, sea bream, sardines but also octopus and squid fresh from Piraeus.

But FishPoint is not just a fish store. Step through the glass door and you will find yourself in a beautiful, tastefully decorated restaurant. There, a huge bar separates the kitchen from the room. In addition, on the walls, bottles of wine and olive oil give the place a special touch.

Of course, here, fish is the king ingredient. It is served in many ways:

  • First and traditionally, cooked, grilled or fried, whole or filleted.
  • But also raw, which is more original in Greece. You will taste it in ceviche, tartar or sushi.

The cooks, who can be seen working behind the counter, are skilled at cutting and cooking the fish. We particularly recommend the sea bass tartar, which is very successful. The presentation is impeccable and the service fast.

Finally, the desserts are simple and very tasty. We recommend the lemon cream, delicious.

The bill please
