Not being particularly familiar with the Athenian nightlife, we interviewed young people living in the Greek capital about their favorite places to go out in Athens at night.
This is obviously not exhaustive but these are their good plans, their favorites. They will undoubtedly allow you to spend a few good evenings to the rhythm of the Athenian night. Here is an excerpt.
The simple “not too cliché” restaurants in Plaka
- The Yiasemi (The Jasmine): “smoky” to have a drink sitting on the steps of Plaka or for a good traditional Greek dish
- The Anafiotika: with music in the evening
- The rooftop in front of the restaurant Anafiotika
Trendy but relaxed bars near Monastiraki
- Vathos Kipos (“At the bottom of the garden”): right next to the bar Six d.o.g.s., nice and lively courtyard
- Six D.o.g.s., composed of several spaces bar, restaurant, expo
- TAF: an art café in the small streets of Monastiraki

- Kolokotroni street and Praxitelous street, between Syntagma and Monastiraki : full of small bars one after the other
