It offers a quiet atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Splendid stained glass windows, columns underlining the impressive height of the place and sumptuous marble floor decorate the space. In addition, potted palm trees add an extravagant touch to the decor. A soothing fountain and the gentle melodies of the pianist recall the atmosphere of calm and elegance characteristic of the early 20th century. Time seems to have stopped.
As a bonus, a detail that is important in Athens: the place is entirely non-smoking.

The high tea at the Great Britain Hotel is offered in the purest of traditions: small savory sandwiches, mignardises prepared by the pastry chef Arnaud Larher, best worker in France, scones with grapes, homemade jams and whipped cream. And we sprinkle the whole with a glamorous touch: champagne or tea from the best selections in the world (coffee on request).
This tea-time revisited is the quintessence of refinement: white tablecloth, damask napkins, sparkling crystal glasses, fine china, silver cutlery. The handle of the teapot is equipped with a white glove so that your delicate handcuffs are not bothered by the heat.
The dishes are fine, the flavors exquisite. The service is impeccable and very professional.
As you can imagine, this high-end snack comes at a price. It will cost you around 40-50€.
In short, an expensive but delicious experience.
