And what to choose? We share with you our favorite “fashion and beauty” addresses in this neighborhood.

- The street-wear lovers will find their happiness in the store Ministry of Concrete (Axarlian 3) which offers a selection of shoes and accessories of local and international brands. A must-see place for urban fashion enthusiasts.
Cosmetics
- Korres (4 Ermou street) is a brand of Greek natural cosmetics. The care lines are innovative, the ingredients are of high quality, the scents and textures are pleasant. The active ingredients are derived from Greek flora. And they are grown in collaboration with local organic farming cooperatives to offer safe products without chemical components for the respect of the skin and the environment.
- If you want a unique and custom-made perfume, go to KK’s Lab Perfume Shop (Axarlian 5). There, you can compose your own fragrance from 40€.
Jewelry and silverware
- Zolotas (10 Panepistimiou Avenue) is a renowned jewelry store that offers beautiful jewelry combining tradition and modernity. The creations are inspired by Greek history and mythology. There are also reproductions of museum pieces.
- A special feature of downtown Athens is that stores selling identical items tend to be grouped together in the same geographical area. For example, Lekka Street is famous for its silverware. You can go to Dragatis (21 Lekka Street) or Konstantopoulou Silverware (23-25 Lekka Street) to buy all kinds of silver objects: jewelry of course, but also tableware, home accessories, icons, religious articles.
