Milos: transport and useful information

© Sophie B.

How to get to Milos

En avion

The island has an airport. In summer, there are daily connections to and from Athens. There are also direct connections from France, Paris and certain provincial cities. In high season, it’s even possible to fly from Milos to Santorini.

To find all the best flight deals to Milos, we recommend you use the Ulysses flight price comparison service.

En bateau

Connections are from the port of Piraeus (Athens) or from other islands if you’re roaming.

The crossing from Athens takes between 3 and 5 hours, depending on the type of boat you choose. Hydrospeed is faster but more expensive, and doesn’t allow you to transport your car.

There are several daily connections in summer. There are also crossings to/from many other islands(Sifnos, Paros, Folegandros, Santorini).

To see existing routes and book your tickets, we recommend you visit the Ferry Hopper website . It’s very easy to use, and no more expensive than port fares (tried and tested).
